We loved exploring the gorgeous gardens with the grandkids. The kids had a blast meeting Glen's adorable sheep and chickens. Breakfast was a treat, with hot options like bacon and eggs, and the common area felt so inviting.
My kids wished for a kid-friendly play area.

Stunning and incredible location, only a short distance to everywhere. The rooms with wine and coffee, as example. Great meals with soft drinks...

Overall it was nicely decorated and new-fashioned, with an outdoor bathroom. Location: the hotel was close enough to Rotorua, the North Island and the beautiful, relaxing garden.

The hotel was a chilled-out base for enjoying a rural area, close enough to the beautiful, relaxing garden, New Zealand and port. The atmosphere created was unique! The room was well decorated and new-fashioned, with extremely comfy bed and a shower, hairdryers, and terry bath robes in the bathroom. The service was absolutely amazing. Furthermore, the parking was on site and convenient. I truly enjoyed staying here and 100% recommend to all.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

Had a very pleasant stay.
We got a room with a hot tub. There were a work desk, coffee and tea making facilities, and a TV set, which was great. Location: the hotel was just next door to the North Island of NZ, New Zealand, and the beautiful, relaxing garden: D

The gardens at Villa Walton are fine. The cottage I stayed in was private and beautifully decorated. Every morning, I enjoyed a really good breakfast prepared by Sue Neil. They always offered good homemade pastries, and it was impossible not to overindulge! I felt at home was great, but the WiFi in the cottage was weak, a bit of a hassle. Even with that, my overall experience. The decor in the main house and the separate cottage was charming, and each corner exuded comfort and warmth.
